WFP enabled all refugee families equipped with a Red Card to redeem their assistance through BLF ATMs, selected BoB Finance, WFP-contracted shops, and any other shops equipped with a payment machine. Families previously receiving assistance to buy food items at WFP contracted shops will have the option to redeem it in cash, to cover any basic need. This is to enhance safe and meaningful access to assistance for refugees, especially for those that may be displaced.
Red Card holders can now redeem cash assistance from shops that are contracted with the World Food Programme.
